The purpose of Timelines is to provide the user with their entire schedule in one place, ensuring they don’t miss an event, class, lab or deadline. The typical user is young, comes from an educated background and is comfortable with technology. The target users of Timelines are students, Professors and Teacher’s Assistants of the University of Victoria. By adding event times and project deadlines to their Timelines schedule, the user can worry less about dates and spend more time meeting deadlines and attending seminars. Now that all their events are in one place, the user can seamlessly add, edit and remove events to their schedule through Timelines.
After set up, the user's schedule from their Uvic MyPage and Google Calendar are consolidated into one within the Timelines app. Timelines is a simple, user friendly calendar application for IOS and Android devices.
